We catch up with one of our fantastic couples after a very busy summer of weddings.
Zoe & Chris have a great story and they have shared with us some details for you all, including their top tips for planning and booking your perfect day.
They married in the beautiful surroundings of Montalto Carriage Rooms surrounded by thier close friends and family.
Below we have a little of their story and top tips for planning your big day.
How did you & Chris meet?
Chris and I met at Portadown College in Upper Sixth in 2009. We picked the same activity to do in PE - which was tennis and we became friends quickly through that. It took another 6 months for him to ask me out. I then went over to England for university while he stayed here at Queen's. We had a long distance relationship for the four years of my university course, then I came back home for a year. After that I had to go back to England as there was no jobs for my profession at the time and I was over in England for another year and a half. Throughout all that we flew over to see each other every month and the long distance relationship worked out in the end.
In 3 words, describe your wedding day
Magical, Perfect, Amazing
What was the most memorable part of your day?
My most memorable part of the day was when Chris and I went to get our photos done separately away from everyone.
It gave us a bit of space to enjoy each other's company as husband and wife.
Chris' most memorable part of the day was me walking down the aisle to meet him.
Top tip for planning your wedding!
My top tip for planning your wedding would be to try and book the major things first,
like your venue, caterer, makeup and hair artist, and photographer; as these things get booked up way in advance.
It took me three years to plan our wedding and I honestly don't regret the time it took to plan (and also gave me more time to save up money)! I figured that I only intend on doing this once, so I'm going to do it right.
Who was your favourite wedding supplier?
My favourite wedding supplier would have to be The Posy Barn for the flowers. Kathryn was just amazing.
She knew exactly what I wanted even when I couldn't quite articulate what I wanted.
She had such a relaxed attitude, she made you feel at ease. All of the flowers on the wedding day were absolutely gorgeous!!
Why did you choose TC Photography to capture your wedding story?
TC Photography was recommended to me by a good friend who had gone to a relative's wedding that TC were at earlier that year. I then looked at the website and the images that were there, read about the photographers and decided that their style was exactly what I was looking for. TC made the whole experience enjoyable - especially the pre-wedding photo shoot to settle any nerves and make us comfortable around the camera. They were very professional and I highly recommend them to anyone who is planning their wedding.
The images that we got back after the wedding were absolutely AMAZING! The whole day just came flooding back and I was smiling the whole way through the album (particularly at a few faces that had been caught unawares)! TC photography's candid and relaxed style made them inconspicuous throughout the day - which is what you want in a wedding photographer and the photos turned out great!
