How and where did you first meet?

We met in August 2015 on Tinder!

How did the proposal happen?

Glenn proposed in January 2017. We went to Ballygally Castle for dinner and a Michael Buble night. Before the show, Glenn took me out to the bandstand in their gardens and I started dancing around pretending I was in the Sound of Music.

Little did I know he was nervously trying to propose! I was in complete shock but over the moon and we knew then that we would have to have our wedding day in Ballygally Castle to reenact the moment!

What were the most important things to you when planning your wedding day?

We felt it was important to have suppliers who were laid back, listened to what we wanted and fitted our style as we felt that the best weddings we had attended were when the bride and groom were present with their guests and relaxed!

Were there any personal touches or traditions incorporated into your wedding? What made them special?

The reenactment of our proposal was a nice touch by our photographer! Also our first dance was Kodaline - The One which was the first concert we had attended together and therefore made the first dance extra special.

How did your wedding photos make you feel when you first saw them?

Our wedding photos were exactly what we wanted. They captured our day perfectly and it made us relive those moments all over again!

What advice would you give to future couples when planning their wedding, especially when it comes to choosing a photographer?

Choose a photographer who has understood what you want and how you want your day to go. We were clear that we wanted to be relaxed and natural and that’s exactly what we got. We were also lucky that our photographer was quick and efficient with minimal disruption to our interaction with our guests. Our photos were fun and not awkward at all - a must for us!!

Other advice would be to not sweat the little details. Your wedding day is about the people you share it with, the atmosphere and the vibe from the bride and groom. Relaxed and happy bride and groom = relaxed and happy guests!
